AngelI would love to see sharks like maybe the Megalodon. Or even the loch ness monster / mosasaurs. Or even take inspiration from thing like subnautica would be really nice for a big aquatic update.

Shourjo MaitraI have an idea about pirates:
If the pirate is added as a knowledge in cultures and when a culture research pirates then, the units of the culture can become pirates and rule the seas. Only the units with worst mood will become a crew and they will be out as pirates in the sea. Pirates will be able to attack both the merchants ship and the transport ships whether the ships are fron their culture or not. Speaking of pirates, a new beast can be added to make the sea even worse. Of course, the KRAKEN. The KRAKEN will be powerful sea monster who can hunt ships down by wrapping it.
I tried my best to express what I really want to see in the game. I am sure other players will like it too. If the developers are reading I want to say only one thing: please do this 🙏🏻 -

Lettuce BoyI think navel battles between two countries if at war like on different islands would be really cool, with the boats we have which I think maybe if I’m seeing right they have broadside cannons already, I’m not sure if I’m seeing correctly this but it would be really fun seeing that happen.

WhatTheHermsManu?!ツAbout the sea monster, I think that only us would be able to spawn it (manually) and not able to spawn naturally, cause maybe it would be annoying, I think it would be cool to have actual sea animals such as sharks and fish, etc.. this is a really good suggestion

ParadoxI hope that the sea update would nerd down the piranha. When the piranha attacks the ships(empty ones) the civilized creatures don't try to save it. This is absurd! Also, the piranha doesn't seem to have a competitor. Well, there's the crocodile, but it stays near the coast.
One nice feature would be to upgrade the tortoises, such that the longer the live, the larger they grow and become stronger. Maybe at a certain point it would receive the title of Sea God and it would 'rule' over a certain territory of ocean. (or any other water body) -

TornadoBlovomOr add a little feature where ships will shoot arrows at other ships or enemies similarly to guard towers and will spit back out half of the remaining occupants when destroyed for realism(half of the crew stuck inside/unable to get out in time)

MairdrinLove this idea. Was thinking of an Atlantis possibility a while ago, but that's a whole different story and would probably require a different race (or maybe elves and humans would still work?)

If one city is weak and the pirates are nearby, the pirates will try to take control of that city. If the situation is bad enough, they may take the city under their control. The city will become a pirate city and will produce more pirates and ships unless any other city or kingdom attacks it and capture it or there is a revolt.

QuiteApparentalI'd love to see mermaids as a part of this update, maybe as the fifth race, and likely, the only one able to build their civilizations in swamps. Though, I'd also like to see an underwater subsection, too, where there would likely be an underwater city

UkalnskI find there should be many more plants inside the water. Its like in minecraft. At the start it was completly dead andd when the sea update came mc had a microboom. Well anyway some fish of different types could also exist in specific sea bioms and also well nothing.

fortune foxgameri'd say some more sea creatures is a cool idea, and a big monster we can drop in wouod be added fun, not just the crab. Maybe just a kraken so you can drop it into deep water and boats passing through are in very big trouble, smaller aquatic life sometimes too.
But i love the suggestion that turtles can grow with age, and basically never die of old age, just keep growing bigger. maybe one day with one like 4,000 years old and big as a continent see if the great crab can defeat it. xD -

Christopher D WilsonIn naval battle there should be 3 types of ships you should, worldbox, 1 is transport ships these help carry troops across water and have no way of protecting it self so there easily sunk, 2 are battleships these can be ships of any kind but they all have weapons and can commences in sea battle, they protect transport ships and sink enemies transports and battle ships. Also they can bombarded coastal cities/villages nothing to strong just small explosion on coast lines. And 3 is commercial ships that carries goods and civilians for trade and ferries.
Woldbox naval can work like that so it be balanced -

TobyWhen a ship is destroyed in open waters, they could appear kinda like a ruined house, it would move, and it would stick out of the water!
I hope they add fishermen, that would fish out of boats and on the dock. However, having a sprite follow another sprite could be difficult to implement, so it would be better to just have them on small rowboats instead.
The rowboat may have two different costumes.
1. Is just the rowboat. There is no one on board.
2. Has a person inside of it. This sprite may have animation of it bobbing up and down on the waves. The person would use the rows to travel, and if they find a nice spot on the sea they would switch sprites to a fishing sprite, were they stand/sit with a fishing rod. -

ChristianTo improve the interaction between piranhas, boats, and people in the water.
1.-Make the piranhas attack boats in groups and stay together, like soldiers following their captain. Alternatively, make the piranhas only attack living beings and not boats.
2.-Allow archers to only attack piranhas when they are close to the shore and only if a piranha has attacked a human. Only the piranha that made the attack would be allowed to be killed, not the others, to avoid the extinction of the piranhas. -

ChristianImproving Water Interaction: Slowing down boats and adding sea monsters.
"To improve boat dynamics, I suggest reducing their speed by 15% to 25%. Currently, boats seem too fast, which hinders their ability to display the expected smooth and fluid movement on water. Additionally, boat animations appear too rapid and fail to convey the sensation of floating on the sea. It would be recommended to reduce this animation by approximately 30% to achieve a more realistic result.
This idea could also be useful in the context of adding sea monsters, such as the Loch Ness Monster. For this, a giant earthworm that moves underground and distorts pixels could be used to create the shadow of the sea monster in the water. The sea monster could move randomly and, upon intercepting a boat, could sink it or generate a kind of maritime war. It would be essential to consider that only sea monsters could destroy boats and not other swimming creatures such as crocodiles or piranhas. -

ChristianConsidering the issue of heroes, I see that people want some of the king's guards and heroes can have that job only when they are wars, nothing more, I think that heroes can have many adventures in the forests and I have also seen comments that wish a demon king or something like that the heroes may be able to fight the demon king by getting together 4 either of a species that is 4 humans or 4 elves, also if the kingdoms are at peace the heroes of the different races come together to fight him demon king, it might be interesting to watch.
