Random Biome Suggestions 2
More suggestions
- Skin Biome: A biome entirely composed of terrain made out of or resembling human skin with hairs acting as trees and vegetation as well as the occasional cyst. Waqwaq fruit (the waqwaq tree was a mythical tree that could supposedly produce fruits resembling either human heads or entire humans) can be harvested in this biome while fauna includes disembodied crawling hands (lesser God Finger?) and featureless humanoids made entirely of skin (flesh golems?)
- Xeno Biome: An alien biome seemingly composed out of a chitin-ike substance with what appears to be hives acting as trees and small insect-like limbs as vegetation giving the biome the appearance of some sort of large hive. The xeno biome can spawn naturally via asteroid strike which will occasionally spawn the biome upon impact on land (based on the concept of panspermia which is that asteroids might contain and spread life). Alien fruit can be harvested in this biome while fauna includes xenomorph-like aliens

Pr.ParadoxWell the xeno biom cant happen because the xeno morph have license and own movies and games so the devs had to get xenomorphs and that means they cant get the lincense because the paper work.... lets not talk about it, but the flesh biome, terraria? Yeah i like that it idnt copieng its "inspiration"

AlthewatcherTo Pr.Paradox, the suggestion mentioned "xenomorph-like" so not directly xenomorphs. Xenomorph-like creatures have become a staple in several media, from the Tyranid of Warhammer 40k to the Brood from the Marvel universe to the Reapers from Ark:Survival Evolved, so the idea is definitely possible without dealing with any copyright issues. Even the word "xenomorph" while used for the creatures isn't exactly a copyrighted thing, the word itself is Latin for "alien body" from the word "xeno" (alien) and "morph" (body). So again considering the amount of xenomorph inspired creatures in fiction there's no reason to believe that a biome and creatures inspired (not taken directly) by the concept isn't possible. Either way I like both ideas, a few more unusual and weird biomes to the game wouldn't hurt
