I think it is a good idea , when we are talking about local and you can only play with your friends , that could be a good idea. But if you talk about online servers then i dont think it could be a good idea , because people probably destroy everything and grief -

RevandrathYes ! Let us invite friends to the game !
I think it could be very cool to be ''multiple gods'' and you try to help your own civilisation or even others, that + the fact they add religions it have so much potential. It could make so much fun games and ''roleplay abilities'' with friends. -

Zeus_InvictusMultiplayer is a must have in the long run I think.
When you have spent many hours on the game, it is true that you can end up getting bored. With the ability to play multiplayer you can have a lot more fun and push your creativity to the max with friends !
Minecraft has become such a popular game (it started as a single player game) especially with the multiplayer ! -

Hello ThereAn idea for multiplayer: Players' God powers (Destruction, Altering terrain, Spawning, Adding traits, etc..) needs varying faith points to be able to use them. Each player starts with just enough points to spawn their chosen race and maybe some extra (to add traits, or spawn wood and food maybe). Afterwards they collect faith points from their people as they progress. This will make it so you need to choose how to use your powers wisely by managing faith points and not just spamming meteors and making super units to destroy your enemy.

DerpyAxolotl360This would be fun and funny. It would be especially good for YouTube’s to mess around with it. Multiplayer has so much potential. If they add it, I could probably get my friends to spend money to get the game lol

CalI can understand why implementing this feature would be a long ways off and potentially not on the cards, but it would be cool to have a way for multiple players to join the same world and tinker with it. I don't think it needs any elaborate godgame mechanics or faith points or victory conditions or anything (that would get in the way of the main part of the game imo, the creativity and sandbox nature of it), just a way for the host to restrict certain players' powers to combat potential griefing and a chat function.
