The same way you can inspect units to see their stats, etc. It could tell you what kind of building it is, it's age, how many inhabitants it has. An arena could tell how many fights has occurred within and it's frequency; docks could tell how many boats has docked there and how many it has built; a fountain could tell how many coins that been thrown into it for a chance of luck, etc, etc.

ZZZZZZZZKit could also be cool after u inspect a building u have an option to look inside and u can see units inside and maybe even some cultures can do gladiator fights and u can watch
