  Would be cool if you had a "level down" button that would just take you to the underground. With the underground should of course come with more creatures, so perhaps you could have moles, worms, ants, or maybe goblins and kobolds for more fantasy based creatures. Also, uplifted worms would be quite something, same with ants. It would be a pretty cool thing to have whole kingdoms of humanoid ants.
  
  Perhaps we could even have a variation of dragon, or something that's around its level. Behemoth perhaps? A death worm could also be an option for a Crabzilla equivalent.

  it would be cool to just have an overall cave world below the original world, like 2 adventures happening at once.

  Ok so this is a cool idea but i think it would be annoying trying to follow whats happening under ground and ubove ground if there was a war

  have layered world, hevens, caves, underworld, hell. how they get between based on what is above and below. maybe only certain races, able to fly or other go from upper levels, and then caves by mining, underworld, ect.

  Dovetailing this with another suggestion near it (undead civilizations) it would be cool if underground biomes were natural habitats for undead and other subterranean creatures, and you might bump into a society of skeletons living underground or something (a sort of underworld vibe). Also bats... I'd love bats as a creature.
