Bigger maps or "infinite" map size option
The Maps in the game are too small for a PC Version, allow us to make em even more bigger. You could even give a performance warning.

Another thing that could be really good with this is world looping, something goes too far left it moves to the right vice versa, same thing with up and down. -

Chef MoquinThat's why they said for PC, if your phone cant run it then stick with the settings that work for you

TuppyI agree with this, I would love to explore an infinite worldbox map that loads by chunks, just like Minecraft does, or at least a map that is fairly bigger.

maxim-dev AdminUnfortunately since the game is simulation based, it can't be technically infinite.
Worldbox simulating all existing entities to make the world feel alive.
Opposite to example, - Minecraft, where if there's no players on a specific chunk - it's kept in "storage". -

OxygenInstead of the classic approach to "infinite" instead have worlds where you can expand the boundaries whenever you want capping at a very large number. For instance you could upgrade from Titanic to Titanic + 100 adding another 100 tiles to the border.

XzarlaxI agree with the idea that you can customise dimensions of the world to some extent.

Bernardo Duarte MarcelinoWell, an infinite world like in "Minecraft" or "Terraria" is impossible, because these games make things happen only around the player or camera, more distant civilizations would stand still for example, but they could at least let us choose the size of the world, like, the titanic has X height and X wide, they could inform us of this size next to the names in the default worlds and leave down there the option "Custom World" and then we could choose the size of the world

soulplexisthe game could simulate from the middle of the screen outward for a set distance. and like in minecraft you could even set the simulation distance it might be pretty cool.

Zeke sternOn the topic of adding bigger sizes the iceberg size should be added to mobile for those whos phone can handle it, it would hurt to add it.
-

SarpYes please biggger map sizes available when creating a map, for ios and android you have the chance to create small maps but please don't limit us all with small maps.

LobstercorAdding up on that how about fusing the idea of op and Oxygen with the addition being that you can kinda go infinitely right or left and it just loops around like a globe?
-

MistaburnoutIf the world will be infinite and make there be a rendering distance such as in Minecraft but the rending distance will limit to how much you can zoom out in your world
-

XadeI wouldn't like an infinite option, because then you could literally just lose track of a kingdom, or a village or such, though I would love a huge map, like a 20x20 map that is legibly obtainable for PC
-

XadeHowever, if you make it a huge map, and make it loop like a globe that would be amazing

jonathanI like this and agree as I would like a map that looks like earth so I get to torcher where I live
-
02 Dec, '22
jonathanalso with what the admin said on 07 dec 21 if a 10x10 square isn't seen by the player and has no entities in it it will not be loaded to block lag

Hunter623Make a bigger version for mobile as well, titanic is still a bit too small and my phone can still handle it easily.

PanThis could work but it shouldn’t just auto generate. There could be like a zone increase option.. so everytime you run out of space you can click to extend the map border.

Jakob B VinklerYea i agree bigger maps maybe like 10x times iceberg for PC cause i feel like the world is wayy to small for PC
-

Goji1994i agree on this having a world size tool where you can choose how big the world is as an example a 100x100 world or 50x50 or 200x200

Pixel McDigitsCompletely unnecessary, even on PC version. The biggest map is already TOO big, takes forever for anything to happen at 5x speed.

VasI would like to see the ability to select your map size both X and Y, not just how large the square is. I want a map thats wide. It'd fit nicer with a widescreen computer after all. Which is like, all computers everywhere, at this point.

ThatOneUnoriginalWould be really good to see bigger map options be available for desktop. Would allow for numerous new variation of word design and options.

MathIsSciencePerformance suggestion-
With this map type, render the best in the middle of the screen and worse in the edges -
02 Mar, '24
AlexanderPLEASE add this, it would be so nice for map makers to not have to use stupidly complicated mods to make bigger world maps than the iceberg 9x9
-
03 Mar, '24
AntoBetter is the idea that oxygen says, that of having a map already established and expanding it with a tool, because sometimes you have a world that you like but it is too small and you would have liked it to be bigger.
-

Juan Diego Jimenez BedoyaCertainly not infinite, that's just not viable, but way bigger, at much twice of Iceberg (maybe that's a lot anyway) at least on PC, my PC is ready to assume the challenge
-

Tom ColbyWould love to see all world sizes on mobile. My IPad can 1000% handle it and if your phone can’t no one is making you use it

Sand RentalI feel like infinite maps would be too much for even a gaming computer to handle, unless the game undergoes some extensive optimization...
-

MetoolManI WANNA MAKE AN ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE WORLD!
However, I don't think INFINITE maps are appropriate. Just really frickin' big. Like 8x the size of iceberg at MOST.
I'd also love for the option to make your map LOOP like it's a planet! -
18 Aug, '25
tonibearI like the op's and Oxygen's idea. I would also like to add, if looping world's exist, add options to which direction it loops, if at all, so that we can enjoy the original WorldBox experience, a y-axis loop, and an x-axis loop.
-

ZoeSeriously, this makes sense. If your device can't handle the bigger map size, just don't make the bigger map... but leave the option there for those who can handle it. Why not? Plenty of people achieve this with mods anyway. I know I do.

Rad GravityHere's how I'd handle it:
Iceland: 10x10 (640x640 tiles)
Greenland: 11x11 (704x704 tiles)
Antarctica: 12x12 (768x768 tiles)
Europa: 13x13 (832x832 tiles)
Eurasia: 14x14 (896x896 tiles)
Moon: 15x15 (960x960 tiles)
Mars: 16x16 (1024x1024 tiles)
Venus: 17x17 (1088x1088 tiles)
Earth: 18x18 (1152x1152 tiles)
Neptune: 19x19 (1216x1216 tiles)
Saturn: 20x20 (1280x1280 tiles)
Jupiter: 21x21 (1312x1312 tiles)
I've noticed that Maxim mentioned how a truly infinite world size is essentially impossible due to the mechanics of WorldBox, so this would be the solution I'd personally use; it'd be nice to have larger world sizes without having to use mods.
That's all I wanted to say. Thanks for hearing me out :D -

DominikI think it's a really great idea, i know that titanic was not here before one update but now i think its time for a bigger map. I think any regular Pc wouldnt have any problems with a map 2 times bigger than titanic
-

EddyYESSSS !!! I honestly had this problem from the start, i just forgot i ever had it , but YESSS !!!

World box player that want Bigger mapBigger like Globe where you can rotate and ultra zoom And when you get a bigger map you can also add now the Mount feature and also the wall feature.
